About 645,000 tons of dairy products were exported to Persian Gulf littoral states, Afghanistan, Iraq and Turkmenistan in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2015), says deputy minister of agriculture, Hassan Rokni, adding that Russia is also set to join the ranks of Iranian dairy customers. According to the official, talks are underway with Europe to import high-yield cows to increase domestic production and exports, IRNA reported.
