Iran “Doing Business” Rank Improves
Iran “Doing Business” Rank Improves

Iran has climbed in the World Bank’s “Doing Business” ranking from last year’s 119 to 118 among 189 countries, reported WB’s latest Doing Business report for 2016 released on October 27. Singapore topped the list, followed by New Zealand and Denmark while Eritrea stood at the bottom of the list. The Doing Business Report is a study conducted by the World Bank Group since 2003 every year that aims to measure the costs to firms of business regulations in different countries. The study has become one of the flagship knowledge products of the World Bank Group in the field of private sector development.
