Iran experienced positive economic growth in the first quarter of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), said the head of Statistical Center of Iran, Adel Azar, without providing a specific number. “Figures on economic growth for the first six months of the current year will be out by November 21,” he added. Reports on the economic growth rate have been published annually up until now, but the Management and Planning Organization of Iran has recently tasked SCI to calculate and release the statistics every six months, IRNA quoted him as saying.
