A total of 83,000 tons of fresh tea leaves worth $385 million have been harvested in the current Iranian year (started March 21), of which 18,000 tons have been processed and marketed as dried tea, ISNA quoted the head of Tea Organization of Iran, Mohammad Ali Roozbahan, as saying. Iran exports tea to Turkey, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait and Russia.
