Kish Island Throughput

Kish Island handled more than 1.23 million tons of oil and non-oil goods during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), says Mohammad Jahanshahi, the head of Kish Port and Maritime Office. Non-oil commodities accounted for the lion’s share of the throughput standing at 1.07 million tons, IRNA reported. Kish is a Persian Gulf island in Hormozgan Province, which enjoys free trade zone status.
