About 13.6 million tons of goods worth $7.2 billion were exported via Bushehr Province during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), indicating a 20% increase in terms of volume and 16% decrease in value compared to the similar period of last year, says the superintendent of Bushehr Customs Bureau, Ahmad Pour-Heydar. According to the official, gas condensates, petrochemicals, paraffin, linear alkylbenzene, fish and cement were among the main exports, with the UAE, India, Qatar, Kuwait and Vietnam as the prime destinations. Furthermore, about 830,000 tons of goods worth $623 million were imported during the same period, indicating 1% and 17% decrease in volume and value respectively, Mehr News Agency quoted the official as saying.
