More than 6 million tons of goods were transported through 32 land and marine borders during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21). Oil products accounted for 3.1 million tons of the transit, Mehr News Agency reported. Parviz Khan Border Crossing in Kermanshah Province was the most active portal in terms of imports and accounted for over 1.5 million tons of goods followed by Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan Province and Bashmaq in Kurdestan Province. In terms of exports, Imam Khomeini Port was the leading transit hub and accounted for 2.1 million tons of goods followed by Bandar Abbas Port and Lotfabad Border Crossing in Khorasan Razavi Province.
