More than 300,000 tons of goods valued at $66.3 million were exported from Semnan Province during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), said the head of Semnan Customs Bureau, Ali Sadeddin on Tuesday. According to Mehr News Agency, exports mostly included cement, plaster, lead ingots, tiles, air conditioners, water heaters, refrigerators, minerals such as ferrosilicon, granite and sodium carbonate,construction foams and steel bars. Iraq, Turkmenistan, Germany, Australia, the UK, Russia, Afghanistan, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, the UAE and South Korea were the top export destinations.
