The first six months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) saw the export of 184,000 tons of goods worth $173 million from Qazvin Province to Iraq, Afghanistan, Armenia, Pakistan, Georgia and Turkmenistan, said the general manager of Qazvin Customs Bureau, adding that the figures register a rise of 5% in terms of weight and 3% in terms of value compared to the similar period of last year. Major exports from Qazvin included industrial goods, paraffin wax, detergent, coolers, plastics and carpet, Mehr News Agency quoted Alireza Sadrikhah as saying.
