Iran’s largest aquatic animals’ feed factory beat Turkey to become the top producer in the Middle East by hitting the 270-ton-per-day mark, announced its executive director. Around 30,000 tons of aquatic feed have been produced by Faradaneh Company, located in the city of Shahrekord in Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province since the start of the current Iranian year (March 21), posting a 47% rise compared to the similar period of last year, Amin Maleki added. Exports of aquatic feed from the province to Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan Republic and Tajikistan have secured $4 million in revenues for the country, he was quoted by ISNA as saying.
