The past five months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) saw the exports of 922 tons of mineral water worth $216,000 to seven countries. In terms of weight, Afghanistan was the biggest customer of Iranian mineral water by purchasing around 288 tons of mineral and fizzy water worth 900 million rials (about $30,000) while Kuwait turned out to be the biggest importer of mineral water from Iran in terms of value with 70.5 tons worth 2.2 billion rials (about $73,320). Azerbaijan Republic, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Iraq and Qatar were other buyers of Iranian mineral water in the same period, ISNA reported.
