The first five months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) saw more than $280 million of exports by South Khorasan Province, registering a 7% rise compared to the corresponding period of last year, said the deputy head for commerce and trade expansion of Industries, Mining and Trade Organization of the province, adding that in terms of weight, exports stood at 774,483 tons. Imports in the same period hovered around $213,300, Mehdi Mahgoli noted. Live sheep and Aspand seeds were among the main imports, Mehr News Agency quoted him as saying.
