A second cargo of Iranian passenger cars, containing 12 Samand sedans manufactured by Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) entered Niger to be used in VIP services, Mohammad Nikkhah, Iran’s ambassador to Niamey told IRIB news on Tuesday. The first cargo of Iranian cars was exported to Niger earlier this year, which contained 90 Pride sedans, another Iranian brand produced by the Saipa group. The West African state has been importing Iranian-made passenger cars in order to renovate its transportation system.
