Italy Favors Investment in Small Enterprises

Head of Iran-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Ahmad Pourfallah, says small enterprises are one of the key-sectors in which Italians are keen to invest. Speaking to the Persian daily Forsat-e Emrooz, the official said: “Rome and Tehran have a long history of cooperation in small industries, particularly those active in the textile sector, mainly in the form of joint investment and import of equipment from Italy to Iran.” Last month, a high-ranking trade delegation from Italy, comprised of economic leaders and representatives from Italian firms, visited Iran and met with officials and traders at Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture to discuss ways of expanding cooperation in various economic sectors.
