A Jordanian economic mission was due in Iran Saturday afternoon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. The 20-member delegation mostly includes senior managers of major Jordanian companies from auto, medical equipment, construction, banking, energy and water, tourism and transportation sectors, Eghtesad News reported. They will compare notes on Iran’s economic potential for investment and expansion of ties with economic players at Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture. President of the Jordanian Business Association Hamdi Al Taba’a who is a prominent economic player in the automotive industry will lead the delegation.
