Ukraine is to initiate cooperation with Iran, including in production, as sanctions against Tehran over its nuclear energy program are being phased out, said Ukraine’s Economic Development and Trade Minister Aivaras Abromavicius. “On September 14-16, I’m likely to go [to Iran] with the agricultural minister and a group of entrepreneurs and industrialists to discuss cooperation issues. After the US sanctions are lifted, huge opportunities [will] open up there. Last week we discussed cooperation prospects with the ambassador. It mainly concerns metro engineering and other types of engineering,” he said at a meeting of the cabinet of ministers on Wednesday, Ukraine Interfax News Agency reported.
