An exclusive trade exhibition sponsored by Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in Afghanistan, will be held in Mazar-e-Sharif Province in northern Afghanistan October 13-16, announced the organizer of Iranian exhibitions in Afghanistan. “Afghanistan’s northern provinces are the region’s trade gateway to Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. By establishing a strong presence there, Iran can significantly expand its trade with Central Asian countries,” IRNA quoted Alireza Sadrzadeh as saying. Iranian producers from provinces of Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Isfahan, Zanjan, Kerman, Fars, West Azerbaijan, Gilan, Golestan and Semnan will show their capabilities in the fields of civil engineering and road construction, communications, home appliances, mining and food industry in the four-day event, he added.
