About 250,000 tons of goods worth $62 million were exported from North Khorasan Province in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), indicating a 13% decrease in terms of weight and 1.6% decrease in value compared to the same period of last year, said the head of North Khorasan’s Industries, Mining and Trade Organization. “The decline comes as the organization has narrowed its focus on the export of high value added goods,” Mehr News Agency quoted Yahya Nikdel as saying. North Khorasan has set an export target of $170 million by the year-end, 36.5% of which has been accomplished so far, he added.
