Agro Talks With Sweden

In a meeting between the head of the Agricultural Jihad Ministry’s department for international affairs Houman Fathi, and the Charge d’affaires of the Embassy of Sweden in Iran Per Linnér last week, the two sides discussed cooperation and trade in the agriculture sector. “Sweden is ready to share its expertise in forest management and plant protection,” IRNA quoted the Swedish official as saying. Fathi, for his part, referred to Iran’s vast potential in the agriculture sector due to its diverse climate and said the country’s strategic location in the region allows it to act as a bridge between Asia and Europe, IRNA reported.
