Statistics by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administrations show that Iran exported about $3 million worth of chewing gum to 10 countries during the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21). Afghanistan was the top destination for Iranian chewing gum, having imported 262 tons worth over $866,000 during the period followed by Iraq with 204 tons worth slightly below $2 million. South Africa, the UAE, Bahrain, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar and Kuwait were the other export destinations, ISNA reported.
