More than 384,000 tons of goods worth $43.6 million were exported from Hamadan Province mainly to Iraq and Ukraine in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), indicating a 10% increase in terms of weight, while the value remained the same compared to the similar period of last year, said head of Hamadan Customs Administration Jamal Khoshouei. According to the official, the main exports were raisins, cement, iron ore concentrate, petroleum jelly and sanitary wares, Mehr News Agency reported. Meanwhile, Hamadan imported more than 2,000 tons of goods worth $15.6 million during the four-month period, showing an 11% increase in terms of volume and 24% increase in value compared to last year’s similar period. The main imports were aluminum coils, synthetic leather, cosmetics and tire cords.
