Iran is the second biggest exporter of non-oil goods and services to Iraq after Turkey, according to the head of Ilam Province’s Industries, Mining and Trade Organization. About $360 million worth of non-oil goods were exported to Iraq via the International Mehran Border Terminal in Ilam during the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), IRNA quoted Yarollah Nasiri as saying. “We plan to further increase our presence in the Iraqi market by holding an Iranian goods expo in the Iraqi city of Kut,” he added.
