More than $4 million worth of goods were exported via Chabahar FTZ in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), said the director general of Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone Organization Hamed Ali Mobaraki. Tea, cosmetics, rice, wheat flour, chemicals, plastic materials and home appliances were the main exports, IRNA reported. The port of Chabahar, strategically located on the border of the Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman, is the only Iranian port with direct access to open waters.
