Berlin-based Germania will launch premium-economy class flights on routes to Iran starting from September. The carrier operates services from Berlin Schoenefeld and Düsseldorf to Tehran, and from Hamburg to Mashhad. Many European carriers are expecting an increase in traffic to and from Iran after the lifting of sanctions imposed against the country following its July 14 nuclear accord with the P5+1 group, Air Transport World reported. Germania operates five Airbus A321s, seven A319s and 10 Boeing 737-700s.
