Commercial Attachés to More Countries

Iran is planning to send commercial attachés to Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Kenya, Vietnam, Oman, Iraqi Kurdistan and China’s Shanghai in the coming weeks, announced the managing director of Representatives Affairs Bureau at the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran. “Iranian commercial attachés are currently active in 12 countries including Azerbaijan, Iraq, Armenia, Turkey, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Venezuela, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, India and South Africa, and we intend to increase this number,” Eghtesad News quoted Reza Abbasqoli as saying. The envoys will promote lost trade ties with the countries in line with Iran’s opening up to international markets following the lifting of sanctions imposed by the US, EU and UN Security Council over Tehran’s nuclear energy program.
