Armenian Ties

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, had a telephone conversation with First Vice President of Iran, Es’haq Jahangiri on Saturday. The interlocutors conferred on several matters that are on the agenda of Armenian-Iranian relations, News.am reported. They reflected on joint projects and programs to develop trade and economic relations. The two officials also agreed to start the construction of the third Iran-Armenia electricity transmission line. During the telephone talk, the Iranian vice president reaffirmed that he would visit Armenia on an official visit within a year. The two also exchanged views on regional developments.
