Azeribaijan’s Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev, heading a delegation of governmental and private representatives from energy, transportation, communication, banking and oil sectors are scheduled to travel to Tehran this week, IRNA quoted director general of International Affairs Bureau at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Hassan Malek, as saying in a meeting with Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Iran, Javanshir Akhundov in Tehran on Monday. The visit at the invitation of Communications Minister Mahmoud Vaezi, who is also head of Iran-Azerbaijan Joint Commission, is aimed at holding discussions on development of rail transportation and connecting the two countries’ rail networks, oil and electricity cooperation, development of communication and information technology and expansion of intergovernmental banking.
