Razi-Kapikoy Border Exports Up 40%

More than 26,000 tons of goods worth $35 million were exported via Razi-Kapikoy border with Turkey, near the city of Khoy in East Azarbaijan Province, during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 21),  up by 40% in terms of value compared with the similar period last year. Industrial products, salt, tar paper and mineral ores were among major exports to Turkey, Germany, Italy and France, IRNA quoted director of Khoy Customs Administration, Iraj Ghasemkhani as saying. Moreover, 34,000 tons of goods worth over $39 million were transported through Razi railway crossing during the three-month period, indicating a 15% increase in weight and 10% increase in value compared with the similar period a year ago.
