Chips exports will increase by 20% in terms of value in the current Iranian year (started March 21) compared to the previous year following the lifting of sanctions imposed against Iran over its nuclear energy program, said the director of Chips and Snacks Union. “About $23 million worth of chips were exported last [Iranian] year. Following the lifting of sanctions and the facilitation of money transfer, the exports can increase up to 20% in value in the current year,” ISNA quoted Ali Shariati as saying.
