Trade Confab With Turkmens

A one-day business and trade conference with Turkmenistan will be held in Tehran on July 26, alongside the Iran-Turkmenistan Economic Commission. The conference will be attended by Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rasit Meredow, who is also leading the Joint Commission on the Turkmen side, according to the event’s organizer.  “The Iranian ambassador to Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan’s envoy to Iran as well as officials from Iran’s Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade and the Ministry of Oil will address the conference,” Mehr News Agency quoted Hassan Mortaji as saying. He added that the Second Specialized Exhibition on Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals, Water and Electricity, Construction Industry and Engineering and Technical Services otherwise known as “Iran Project” is due to be held from August 19 to 21 in Ashgabat.
