A total of $30.7 million worth of goods were traded between Iran and the United States during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 21). Imports which accounted for the lion’s share of the figure ($30.65 million), mainly comprised of dietary and pharmaceutical supplements, medical equipment, beauty and health products, toothbrushes, yachts and motor boats. Iran exported only $134,000 worth of goods to the US during the three-month period. The exports included shrimps, floor coverings, books, newspapers and brochures, Eghtesad News reported.
