More than 53,800 tons of goods, valued at $27.7 million were exported via Saveh County in Markazi Province during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 21), which indicates a 10% increase compared to the previous year’s similar period, announced director general of the province’s customs office, Mehdi Mirashrafi. Saveh’s exports included pomegranates, fruit juice, yogurt, tomato paste, nuts, potato chips, purified salt, pasta, glass, mirrors, tiles and ceramic products, chinaware, office equipment, air conditioners, washing machines and radiators. Exports were destined for Iraq, Afghanistan, Armenia, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Italy, Germany, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Sudan, India and Turkey.
