Until further notice, chicken can be exported with no permit requirement from the Ministry of Agriculture, reported the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran. “Unlike previous years, we are facing chicken overproduction and consequently, price drops and reduced demands,” IRNA quoted deputy minister of agriculture in livestock production affairs as saying. According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, about 7,500 tons of chicken were exported during the first two months of the current Iranian year (started March 21).
