The Central Bank of Iran is holding negotiations with China to attract $2 billion investment for construction of Tehran-Mashhad electric train project, according to deputy minister of roads and urban development, Mohsen Pourseyyed Aghaei. As Mehr News Agency reported, the official said the project is currently in the research phase, adding that government will start the construction as soon as the financial resources are specified.
