Isfahan Exports

More than 394,000 tons of goods worth $271 million were exported from the central Isfahan Province during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 21), according to director general of Isfahan’s Customs Office, Asadollah Ahmadi Vanhari. The exports mainly included petrochemicals, steel, ceramics and dairy products, destined for Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, IRNA quoted the official as saying. He added that the province’s customs revenues during the period amounted to about $7.6 million, which indicates an increase of 52% compared to the similar period a year ago.
