Ties With Mexico

The removal of western sanctions against Iran (imposed over the country’s nuclear energy program) is expected to improve relations between Tehran and Mexico City, says the Mexican ambassador to Iran. Referring to his tour of Gilan and Mazandaran provinces, Ulises Canchola Gutierrez said Anzali Free Trade Zone can offer favorable opportunities to the private sectors of the two countries, IRNA reported. He also viewed the August 2014 visit by his country’s foreign minister to Iran as a turning point in bilateral cooperation.
