Rice Import Ban Remains

Market analysis shows that enough rice has been stored, therefore the ban on import of this staple will remain in force, announced an official with the Agriculture Ministry. Market Adjustment Headquarters forbade the import of rice in March 2015, but under last year’s order registration, a meager amount of foreign rice found its way into the country, IRNA quoted Abbas Keshavarz as saying.
