The bill to establish Sistan Free Trade Zone in Sistan-Baluchestan Province has been ratified by the working group of the High Council of Iran Free Trade-Industrial Zone, said Seyyed Mohammad Baqer Hosseini, a member of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission. “A year after President Hassan Rouhani’s travel to Sistan-Baluchestan to pursue the matter, the general outlines of the bill were finally ratified on June 16 by the council’s working group,” ISNA quoted him as saying on Wednesday. Once the details of the bill have been approved, the area will be able to attract investments, create employment and accelerate economic growth.
