According to Iranian Ambassador to Nigeria Saeed Koozechi, Tehran is willing to increase annual trade with Abuja from the current $50 million to $500 million. Koozechi made the remark at the opening of Iran Solo Exhibition in Lagos last week, Nigeria newspaper Daily Trust reported. There were at least 15 Iranian companies showcasing Iranian machines and products in the exhibition. “Right now, Iranian companies do not know the opportunities available in Nigeria. This also applies to Nigerian businesses as they also know little about Iranian companies and the huge potential that the Iranian market offers,” the ambassador added.
