A wide range of international delegations comprising traders, investors and business owners attended the ‘First Project Iran Exhibition’ held in Tehran’s permanent international fairground June 8-11.

Representatives from Iranian companies, organizations and ministries also visited the exhibition.

Holding bilateral meetings, domestic and foreign delegations discussed ways to implement joint plans and projects.

The event, which is an international trade exhibition for construction materials, equipment and environmental technology, is considered Iran’s first full-blown construction exhibition.

The participants showcased their products, including equipment and machinery used in urban construction and building of tunnels, dams, nuclear, water, solar, wind and electricity power plants, oil and gas industry and air-conditioning systems, with the aim of funding and implementing Iran’s construction projects.

Introducing Iran’s economic potential to foreign companies, absorbing investments in domestic projects and the exchange of technical know-how were among the objectives of the exhibition.

The event was organized by Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and Iran’s International Exhibitions Company in collaboration with IFP Group, which is an international organizer of exhibitions in Middle East and North Africa Region.
