Since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21), 8,000 tons of red meat have been imported from Brazil for human consumption, CEO of Livestock Protection Company Mostafa Yasayi announced on Sunday as reported by Mehr News Agency. The official stressed that his company has tested the quality of the imports and there is no health risks involved in the consumption of Brazilian meat.
