The factory’s products met the demand in 16 provinces of Iran and were also exported to Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Nearly $200,000 were generated from fish feed exports during the period, ISNA reported, quoting the factory’s manager, Amin Maleki. The factory’s production during the period indicated 10% growth compared with the similar period of the previous year. The large fish feed factory in the province was established four years ago with private capital investment of 25 billion rials ($750,000 at market exchange rate). The plant provides direct employment to more than 200 people.
