In a meeting held in the Russian capital Moscow, Iranian and Russian foreign ministry officials have finalized a consular cooperation treaty in a bid to expand bilateral relations pertaining to tourism and trade, IRNA reported. The deal was reached between Iranian consular director general Ali Chegani and his Russian counterpart Yevgeni Ivanov in a ceremony that was also attended by the Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanayee. It is expected to ease visa requirement procedure for both countries’ businessmen, industrialists, tourists, investors, truck-owners, university professors and students, artists and cultural activists.
