Kyrgyzstan Seeks Closer Relations

Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Iran, Asanbeyk Osman Aliyev, called for promotion of bilateral business ties, in a meeting held in Mashahd on Tuesday with governor-general of the northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province, Alireza Rashidian. “Considering the cultural commonalities between the Kyrgyz citizens and people in Khorasan Razavi, the province can play a central role in expanding mutual trade relations,” the ambassador was quoted by IRNA as saying. He also called for the establishment of direct flights between Mashhad – the capital of Khorasan Razavi Province, and Bishkek – the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.
