A Belgian diplomat has said that businesses from her country plan to share their latest technical achievements in textile industry with Iranian industrialists, IRNA reported on Tuesday. A Belgian trade delegation is currently in Isfahan to explore investment opportunities in the historical Iranian city. The delegation, headed by Belgium’s commercial attaché Elizabeth Franker Hoffen, attended this week’s session of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce. Belgium is a major producer of textile products, carpets, and various types of garment. The northern European state also makes one of the world’s most state-of-the-art textile machinery types, called Air Jet.
