A five-member trade delegation from Serbia, headed by Serbian Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Telecommunications and Tourism, Rasim Ljaji?, is in Tehran to hold talks on issues of mutual interest with Iranian government officials, IRNA reported. The visit comes at the official invitation of the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh. Seen off by Iran’s Ambassador to Serbia, Majid Fahimpour at Belgrade Airport on Sunday, Rasim Ljaji? stressed the need for boosting bilateral relations in various areas encompassing agriculture, food industry, construction and tourism. The Iranian envoy, for his part, described the Serbian delegation’s visit to Tehran as a highly significant step towards promoting the level of trade between the two countries, expressing hope that the visit could pave the way for holding the 14th Iran-Serbia Joint Commission in Tehran this year.
