According to data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), about 3,000 metric tons of meat worth $12 million was imported in the first month of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21), showing a 75 percent decrease in terms of weight and an 80 percent decline in terms of value compared to the similar period a year before, ISNA reported.
