About 177,000 metric tons of detergents and toiletries, worth $138 million were exported in the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20), director general of health, medicine and food industry office in the ministry of industry, mine and trade, Mahdi Sadeghi Niaraki, announced on Monday, as reported by IRNA. According to the official, 80,000 tons of the exports, worth $54 million, went to Iraq and 25,000 tons, worth $17 million, was exported to Afghanistan. Pakistan and Turkmenistan, with $9 million each, were the 3rd and the 4th biggest export destinations respectively.
