Close to 23,000 metric tons of sheep, valued at $115 million, were exported during the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20), based on the latest statistics released by Iran’s Customs Administration (ICA). Iran also exported more than 18,000 tons of sheepskin, valued at $88.5 million last year. The ICA statistics also show close to 29,000 metric tons of milk, valued at $89.2 million, was exported during the same period.
