Potato exports increased the most among other agricultural products in the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20), ISNA reported. More than 391,800 metric tons of the product, worth $148 million, was exported over the period, which is two and a half times more in terms of volume and four times more in value compared to a year before, the report added. Meanwhile, 450,000 metric tons of tomato, worth $158.7 million, was exported last year, which shows a 77.8 percent increase in volume and a 79.2 percent increase in value. Apple, garlic, onion, cabbage, cucumber, eggplant, watermelon and kiwi were among other major agricultural exports last year.
